Hi, Remember Me?
Okay, long time, no post, etc.
Was freaked out this morning as I went to go murder a mud-wasp den that had decided to make the root system of one of Liz's rosebushes its home, and found out that some local animal had beaten me to it, and had dug up the entire hive and eaten them all (presumably).
There's just a giant hole there where there used to be wasps pouring in and out of the ground.
I was just wondering aloud on Friday what device mother nature has for dealing with mud wasps like this, y'know, since we've all seen bears eat the bee hives that hang from trees, and I was just wondering if there was some animal that eats mud-wasps or something.
And so now I'm wondering if there's any wild bears on the loose in Northern Illinois...
