My New Hero
Okay, Benny Benassi is the greatest DJ/Music video creator on the face of the planet.
I will accept no arguments to the contrary. That is all.

Lyrical Nonsense
For whatever reason, these two lyrics have stuck in my head lately. I don't know if it's because they're clever or what, but I love 'em.
1). Ridin' sound waves like Poseidon.
2). Yo DJ, bless the crowd with the sign of the cross-fader.

A Conversation Already in Progress
Bowler: That's like, totally bogus or something?
Liz: What, are you Butthead now?
Bowler: Yes... And to think, all of those years of quality TV spawned from...
Liz: Frog Baseball!!!!
Bowler: Liquid Tv, where are you now? What else got big from that show? Aeon Flux.
Liz: Yeah, didn't they make a movie or something?
Bowler: A horrible movie by all accounts. The original animated version was perfect.
Liz: Why did they do that? Why couldn't they just have made an animated film or...
Bowler: Liz, Liz, Liz, obviously you don't know anything and Hollywood is WAY smarter than you. They've got their finger on what's cool and hip and if they decide that they can make something better by making it a movie, then by god, that's what needs to happen.
Liz: Can you imagine what's going to happen in the next 20 years? As all of those old fogies in Hollywood die off, someone, somewhere, is going to try to remake Citizen Kane or something. It's like they can't leave things well enough alone. One of these days they're going to take a classic, one that didn't need to be remade, and remake it "just because," like Kane, or Wonderful Life, or --
Bowler: King Kong.
Aaaaaand scene.

Yet Another Awesome Daughter Post
Today we watched her favorite DVD three times, because she asked us to.

Holy Crap
We just spent more on Riley's playfort/swingset than we've spent on any computer/home appliance since 1994.
She's worth it, but man, this ranks third right behind house/car nausea for huge purchase signoff. However, seeing her laugh and squeal and sing "wheeeee!!!" every time she went down the slide? Totally worth every penny.

Why My Daughter is Awesome, #341931
We're waiting for our lunch at Applebees (don't ask), Riley is craning her neck around looking at all of the local memorabilia on the walls, and starts spouting "A CLUE A CLUE!!!" while pointing at the wall.
It took us forever to figure out what it was she was talking about.
(The first paw logo was really for the Neuqua Valley Wildcats, but I can't find any of their logos on the net).
