It's a fucking ripoff.
The Superman Returns Soundtrack was just released today. Go take a listen, and then look at the credit listed above on the site.
The stunning original score for the hotly anticipated Warner Bros. Pictures epic feature film. Scored by award-winning composer John Ottman, whose previous credits include Fantastic Four, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, X2, and The Usual Suspects.
Is "John Ottman" a pen name for John Williams? Because that credit should read "Main theme Scored by John Williams, Arranged by JOhn Ottman." I know Williams is a rip-off artist himself, but uh, this is fairly blatant.
